Lake’s Edge Queenstown

Contemporary modern home on the lakeshore, Queenstown.

The modern Simon wall switches were chosen which ensure a minimalistic look and feel to the walls. Colourful backlit icons make it easier to discern the function of each button, which ranges from scenes to individual control of lighting and curtains.

Centralised control of the whole house using an app (tablet, smart phone and PC web browser) for lighting and shading.

Scheduled events – towel rails and feature lighting activate/deactivate automatically.

Night mode, when activated from the client’s bedside, changes the behaviour of the lighting sensors to trigger the hallway lights at 20%. Day mode is then reactivated at sunrise unless executed beforehand by the homeowner.
